AZTEC ARCHES

Cox Canyon Arch, Octopus Arch, and Arch Rock are all within a few miles of the event. These spectacular land formations are all well worth a visit before or after the event.

AZTEC RUINS NATIONAL MONUMENT

The festival is located just 20 minutes to the north of this Ancestral Puebloan site featuring a museum & trail connecting ceremonial structures & a Great Kiva.

MESA VERDE

The festival is located just 1 hr away from the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park. Come take a look into the lives of the Ancestral Pueblo peoples who made Mesa Verde their home for over 700 years, from 600 C.E. to 1300 C.E.!

Experience some of the most notable and best-preserved cliff-dwelling ruins in the United States. Mesa Verde encompasses over 80 square miles and protects over 5,000 archaeological sites, including the famous Cliff Palace and nearly 600 cliff dwellings, some more than 800 years old. This is the trip of a lifetime for all ages, and well worth it before or after the event. 

CANYONS OF THE ANCIENTS VISITOR CENTER

The festival is located just 1 hr away from the Canyon of the Ancients Visitor Center. 

The Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum, located in Dolores, Colorado, is an archaeological museum of Native American pueblo and hunter-gatherer cultures. Two 12th-century archaeological sites, the Escalante and Dominguez Pueblos, were once home to Ancient Pueblo peoples.

OFF ROADING

Explore the majestic La Plata Mountains and Canyon near Durango, CO. Here, you will discover some of the country’s most scenic views and beautiful waterfalls. Off-road tours and trails are abundant in this area. This can be a great adventure for the entire family. 

RAFTING ANIMAS RIVER

Go whitewater rafting through Class I, II & III rapids in Durango, Colorado! The Animas River flows right through Durango. This is a great chance to raft on the river. This trip is great for families, and you can choose between our Splash & Dash or Half Day trips!

4 CORNERS

The festival is located 1hr and 40 min to the east of the Four Corners monument. This is the spot where CO, NM, AZ, and UT meet.
